Marketplace cleaners are always paid automatically for projects they complete. Cleaners you add to Turno by invite can be paid either via manual or automatic payments on Turno, or outside of the app via other manual methods. There is also an option to make additional manual payments for add-on services and reimbursements.
Manual payments give you control over specific payment scenarios, ensuring a seamless and customized transaction experience. Use manual payments to quickly and securely send an extra payment, reimbursement, gratuity, or to fix missed or declined auto payments.
Turno does not store payment information. Our payment processor will issue Form 1099-K to your U.S. contractor when applicable. Therefore, you do not need to send Form 1099-MISC. Depending on their account type and thresholds, cleaners may receive a 1099-K at the beginning of the year.
